CONVERGE as defined by Webster: to move toward a common point or result

The most substantial and measurable spiritual growth happens among students who have trustworthy, accountable, and healthy relationships with either an adult leader or a peer.

CONVERGE In the early church, CONNECTION was much more relational than recreational. It included sharing (I john 1.7), and breaking bread (Acts 2.42) with other believers, as well as developing intimacy with Christ (I corinthians 1.9) and with other believers (galatians 2.9).

CONVERGE allows for discussion about how the truth can be implemented specifically in students' lives.

CONVERGE encourages accountability; Christianity is too difficult for isolation. Use CONVERGE to share struggles and prayer requests. The hope is that through CONVERGE, students will realize that they can trust and rely on the CHURCH (the BODY OF CHRIST) during difficult times.

CONVERGE is a place where the focus is on the student more than the teaching. The content is a starting place but the focus is on intimacy, lifestyle, and accountability. The aim is not to grow the group in numbers but rather in the areas of trust and friendship with those who commit to the group.

Because relationships with others are at the core of our relationship with our Savior, CONVERGE sits directly in the middle of the HCEFree Student Ministry flow.
